Refunds

Sometimes you need to issue a refund. EetEet makes it easy to process full or partial refunds directly from the app.

When to Refund

Common reasons for refunds:

  • Order couldn't be fulfilled - Out of ingredients
  • Wrong order - Prepared incorrectly
  • Missing items - Items forgotten from order
  • Quality issues - Customer unsatisfied
  • Customer no-show - Order wasn't picked up

Refund Types

Refund Process

All refunds are processed through Square:

  1. You initiate the refund in EetEet
  2. Square processes the refund
  3. Customer receives credit to their payment method
  4. Refund appears in your Square dashboard

Timing

  • Refunds typically process within 5-10 business days
  • The time depends on the customer's bank
  • You see the refund immediately in your reports
