Connect Printer¶
Set up your Bluetooth receipt printer with EetEet.
Before You Start¶
Make sure you have:
- A compatible Bluetooth receipt printer
- Printer is charged/powered on
- Paper loaded in the printer
- iPad Bluetooth enabled
Pairing Your Printer¶
Step 1: Enable Bluetooth¶
- Open iPad Settings
- Tap Bluetooth
- Make sure Bluetooth is ON
Step 2: Put Printer in Pairing Mode¶
Each printer is different, but typically:
- Hold the power button for 3-5 seconds
- Look for a blinking light indicating pairing mode
- Consult your printer manual if unsure
Step 3: Connect in EetEet¶
- Open EetEet Vendor app
- Go to Settings > Printer
- Tap Connect Printer
- Wait for the app to discover your printer
- Tap your printer name
- Accept any pairing prompts
Step 4: Test the Connection¶
- Tap Test Print
- A test receipt should print
- If it works, you're connected!
Connection Status¶
In Settings > Printer, you'll see:
- Connected - Ready to print
- Disconnected - Not connected
- Searching - Looking for printer
Reconnecting¶
If your printer disconnects:
- Make sure printer is on
- Go to Settings > Printer
- Tap Reconnect
The app usually reconnects automatically when in range.
Multiple Printers¶
You can set up multiple printers:
- Connect additional printers following the same steps
- Choose a default printer
- Select which printer to use for different receipt types
Removing a Printer¶
To remove a saved printer:
- Go to Settings > Printer
- Tap the printer to remove
- Tap Forget Printer
Troubleshooting Connection¶
Printer not found?
- Make sure it's in pairing mode
- Move iPad closer to printer
- Restart the printer
- Check battery/power
Won't connect?
- Try forgetting and re-pairing
- Restart iPad Bluetooth
- Check if printer is paired with another device
