Connect Printer

Set up your Bluetooth receipt printer with EetEet.

Before You Start

Make sure you have:

  • A compatible Bluetooth receipt printer
  • Printer is charged/powered on
  • Paper loaded in the printer
  • iPad Bluetooth enabled

Pairing Your Printer

Step 1: Enable Bluetooth

  1. Open iPad Settings
  2. Tap Bluetooth
  3. Make sure Bluetooth is ON

Step 2: Put Printer in Pairing Mode

Each printer is different, but typically:

  • Hold the power button for 3-5 seconds
  • Look for a blinking light indicating pairing mode
  • Consult your printer manual if unsure

Step 3: Connect in EetEet

  1. Open EetEet Vendor app
  2. Go to Settings > Printer
  3. Tap Connect Printer
  4. Wait for the app to discover your printer
  5. Tap your printer name
  6. Accept any pairing prompts

Step 4: Test the Connection

  1. Tap Test Print
  2. A test receipt should print
  3. If it works, you're connected!

Connection Status

In Settings > Printer, you'll see:

  • Connected - Ready to print
  • Disconnected - Not connected
  • Searching - Looking for printer

Reconnecting

If your printer disconnects:

  1. Make sure printer is on
  2. Go to Settings > Printer
  3. Tap Reconnect

The app usually reconnects automatically when in range.

Multiple Printers

You can set up multiple printers:

  1. Connect additional printers following the same steps
  2. Choose a default printer
  3. Select which printer to use for different receipt types

Removing a Printer

To remove a saved printer:

  1. Go to Settings > Printer
  2. Tap the printer to remove
  3. Tap Forget Printer

Troubleshooting Connection

Printer not found?

  • Make sure it's in pairing mode
  • Move iPad closer to printer
  • Restart the printer
  • Check battery/power

Won't connect?

  • Try forgetting and re-pairing
  • Restart iPad Bluetooth
  • Check if printer is paired with another device
