New Orders¶
When a customer places an order, you'll be notified immediately.
How New Orders Arrive¶
- A push notification appears on your iPad
- An alert sound plays (if enabled)
- The order appears in your New Orders queue
- If auto-print is on, a ticket prints automatically
New Order Alert¶
The alert shows:
- Order number - Quick reference (e.g., #42)
- Items - What they ordered
- Total - Order amount
- Special notes - Any customer requests
Order Queue¶
New orders appear at the top of the main screen in the "New" section. They're sorted by time received (oldest first).
Responding to Orders¶
You should respond to new orders quickly:
- Tap the order to view details
- Review the items and notes
- Tap Accept to start preparing

Order Timeout¶
If orders aren't accepted within a reasonable time:
- Customers may get concerned about their order
- Multiple unaccepted orders can pile up
- The customer may try to contact you
Keep your queue moving during service hours!
Not Receiving Orders?¶
If you're not seeing new orders:
- Make sure your truck is open
- Verify order acceptance is enabled
- Check your internet connection
