Complete Orders¶
When an order is ready for the customer to pick up, mark it as complete.
Marking Orders Ready¶
- Find the order in your Active list
- Tap the order to open details
- Tap Ready for Pickup
- The customer is notified immediately
What Happens¶
When you mark an order ready:
- The customer receives a push notification
- Their app shows "Ready for Pickup"
- The order moves to your completed list
Customer Pickup¶
When the customer arrives:
- Ask for their name or order number
- Verify it matches the order
- Hand over the food
- The order is considered complete
You don't need to mark it again after they pick up—"Ready for Pickup" is the final status.
Quick Actions¶
Mark All Ready¶
If you've prepared several orders at once:
- Select multiple orders
- Tap Mark All Ready
- All selected orders notify their customers
Swipe to Complete¶
For faster workflow:
- Swipe right on an order
- Tap Ready
Customer No-Shows¶
If a customer doesn't pick up their order:
- The order remains in "Ready" status
- Food quality decreases over time
- You may need to discard the order eventually
For no-show situations:
- Wait a reasonable time (15-30 minutes)
- Try to hold the food as long as practical
- Note the situation for any future refund discussions
After Completion¶
Completed orders appear in your Order History where you can:
- Review details
- Process refunds if needed
- Track sales patterns
