Accept Orders

When a new order comes in, accepting it confirms you'll prepare it.

Accepting an Order

  1. Tap on the new order
  2. Review the items and any special notes
  3. Tap the Accept button
  4. The order moves to "Preparing"

What Happens When You Accept

  • The customer is notified their order is being prepared
  • The order moves to your active orders list
  • A timer starts tracking preparation time

Reviewing Before Accepting

Before accepting, check:

  • Items available - Can you make everything?
  • Special notes - Any allergies or modifications?
  • Quantity - Do you have enough ingredients?

Can't Fulfill an Order?

If you can't make an order (out of ingredients, etc.):

  1. Contact the customer if possible
  2. Process a refund
  3. Consider adjusting item availability

Avoid Accepting Then Cancelling

Only accept orders you can fulfill. Cancelling after accepting frustrates customers.

Auto-Accept

Some trucks use auto-accept for efficiency:

  1. Go to Settings > Order Settings
  2. Enable Auto-Accept Orders
  3. New orders are automatically accepted

This works well if you:

  • Keep your menu availability accurate
  • Have consistent preparation capacity
  • Monitor orders closely

Accept All

During busy times, you can accept multiple orders at once:

  1. Tap Accept All on the order screen
  2. All new orders move to preparing

Use this when you're confident you can handle the queue.
