Accept Orders¶
When a new order comes in, accepting it confirms you'll prepare it.
Accepting an Order¶
- Tap on the new order
- Review the items and any special notes
- Tap the Accept button
- The order moves to "Preparing"
What Happens When You Accept¶
- The customer is notified their order is being prepared
- The order moves to your active orders list
- A timer starts tracking preparation time
Reviewing Before Accepting¶
Before accepting, check:
- Items available - Can you make everything?
- Special notes - Any allergies or modifications?
- Quantity - Do you have enough ingredients?
Can't Fulfill an Order?¶
If you can't make an order (out of ingredients, etc.):
- Contact the customer if possible
- Process a refund
- Consider adjusting item availability
Avoid Accepting Then Cancelling
Only accept orders you can fulfill. Cancelling after accepting frustrates customers.
Auto-Accept¶
Some trucks use auto-accept for efficiency:
- Go to Settings > Order Settings
- Enable Auto-Accept Orders
- New orders are automatically accepted
This works well if you:
- Keep your menu availability accurate
- Have consistent preparation capacity
- Monitor orders closely
Accept All¶
During busy times, you can accept multiple orders at once:
- Tap Accept All on the order screen
- All new orders move to preparing
Use this when you're confident you can handle the queue.
