Push Setup

Enable push notifications to receive order alerts.

Why Push Notifications?

Push notifications:

  • Alert you to new orders immediately
  • Work even when the app is in background
  • Ensure you never miss an order

Enable Push Notifications

On First Launch

When you first open EetEet Vendor:

  1. A prompt asks to allow notifications
  2. Tap Allow
  3. Notifications are enabled

If You Denied Earlier

If you tapped "Don't Allow" before:

  1. Open iPad Settings
  2. Scroll to EetEet Vendor
  3. Tap Notifications
  4. Toggle Allow Notifications ON

Notification Permissions

Enable all notification types for best experience:

  1. Open iPad Settings > EetEet Vendor > Notifications
  2. Enable:
    • Allow Notifications - Master switch
    • Lock Screen - See alerts without unlocking
    • Notification Center - Alerts stay for review
    • Banners - Pop-up alerts
    • Sounds - Audio alerts
    • Badges - Number on app icon

Testing Notifications

To verify notifications work:

  1. Open EetEet Vendor
  2. Go to Settings > Notifications
  3. Tap Send Test Notification
  4. You should see/hear an alert

Focus Mode

If you use Focus modes (Do Not Disturb):

  1. Open iPad Settings > Focus
  2. Select your Focus mode
  3. Under Allowed Apps, add EetEet Vendor
  4. Enable Time Sensitive Notifications

Notification Issues?

If you're not receiving notifications:

  1. Check all permissions are enabled
  2. Check Focus mode isn't blocking
  3. Verify internet connection
  4. Try restarting the app
