Notifications¶
Stay informed about new orders and important updates.
Notification Features¶
- Push Setup - Enable push notifications
- Sound Alerts - Configure order sounds
- Settings - Customize notification preferences
Why Notifications Matter¶
During busy service:
- You may not always be looking at the screen
- Sound alerts ensure you don't miss orders
- Push notifications work even when app is backgrounded
Notification Types¶
Order Alerts¶
- New order - Customer placed an order
- Order reminder - Order hasn't been accepted yet
System Alerts¶
- Connection issues - Internet or Square problems
- Menu updates - Items changed in Square
Quick Check¶
Verify notifications are working:
- Go to Settings > Notifications
- Check that notifications are enabled
- Check that sounds are enabled
- Do a test notification if available
