Edit Items

Update your menu items to keep information accurate.

Editing an Item

1. Go to Menu
2. Find the item to edit
3. Tap the item
4. Tap Edit
5. Make your changes
6. Tap Save

What You Can Edit

Name

The item name customers see. Keep it clear and appetizing.

Description

What's included in the item. Mention key ingredients or preparation style.

Price

The base price before modifiers. Prices must be in dollars.

Category

Which category the item belongs to. Items can only be in one category.

Editing Modifiers

Modifiers are options customers can select:

Adding a Modifier Group

1. In item edit, tap Modifiers
2. Tap Add Modifier Group
3. Enter group name (e.g., "Size", "Toppings")
4. Set if it's required or optional
5. Add modifier options

Modifier Options

For each option, set:

• Name - What the customer sees
• Price adjustment - How much to add/subtract
• Default - If it's selected by default

Example Modifier Groups

Size (Required, pick one):

• Small (+$0.00)
• Medium (+$1.00)
• Large (+$2.00)

Extra Toppings (Optional, pick any):

• Bacon (+$2.00)
• Avocado (+$1.50)
• Extra cheese (+$1.00)

Saving Changes

Changes save to EetEet immediately. If you sync with Square, changes are reflected there too.

Deleting Items

To remove an item:

1. Open the item
2. Scroll to bottom
3. Tap Delete Item
4. Confirm deletion

Deletion is Permanent

Deleted items cannot be recovered. Consider marking unavailable instead.
