Getting Started

How do I become an EetEet vendor?

Visit vendors.eeteet.com to apply. Our team reviews applications and helps approved vendors get set up.

What devices are supported?

EetEet Vendor runs on iPad with iPadOS 18.5 or later. iPhone is not currently supported.

Do I need a Square account?

Yes. EetEet uses Square for payment processing. You'll need to connect your Square account to accept payments.

Is there a cost to use EetEet?

Contact us for current pricing. We charge a small fee per transaction.

Orders

How quickly should I accept orders?

Accept orders as quickly as possible—ideally within 1-2 minutes. Customers are notified when you accept.

Can customers cancel orders?

Once placed, orders cannot be cancelled through the app. Customers can contact you directly for cancellation requests.

What if I can't fulfill an order?

If you can't make an order (out of ingredients, equipment issue), process a refund promptly and update your menu availability.

How do I see past orders?

Go to the History tab or Menu > Order History to see completed orders.

Payments

When do I get paid?

Payments go through Square. Funds are typically deposited according to your Square deposit schedule (usually 1-2 business days).

Where do tips go?

100% of tips go to you. Tips are included in your Square deposits.

Can I issue refunds?

Yes. You can issue full or partial refunds directly from the app. See Refunds.

What if a payment fails?

Failed payments never create orders. The customer is notified to try again or use a different payment method.

How do I update my menu?

Go to Menu to view, edit, or add items. You can also import from Square.

How do I mark items as sold out?

Tap the item and toggle availability, or use the quick toggle on the menu list. See Item Availability.

Can I have different menus for different events?

Currently, you have one menu. Mark items unavailable that you're not serving at a particular event.

Operations

How do I change my location?

Go to Settings > Location to update where you're parked. See Update Location.

Do I need a receipt printer?

A printer is optional but highly recommended for efficient order management. See Printer Setup.

Can I use multiple iPads?

Yes. You can log in on multiple devices. All devices see the same orders and can manage them.

What if I lose internet connection?

Orders already accepted continue. New orders will arrive when you reconnect. Have a backup connection (phone hotspot) ready for busy times.

Account

How do I change my password?

Use the password reset option on the login screen, or contact support for account changes.

Can I have multiple trucks on one account?

Yes. If you operate multiple trucks, they can all be managed from one vendor account. Select which truck to manage when you log in.

How do I close my account?

Contact vendor support to discuss closing your account.
